Hello, I'm Chris Kingdon
For as long as I can remember, I have always been amazed by the intricate details and organized chaos of the natural world. My photographic adventure began as a young child with a simple point and shoot camera in my backyard. Today I shoot with a professional DSLR camera, but my sense of wonder for the natural world at our doorstep has not changed. Whether it be the largest of ecosystems or the smallest of insects, through my photography I invite you to witness some of the most unique, colourful, and complex pieces of artwork mother nature has gifted us with, and contemplate just what we risk loosing if humankind doesn't soon start better protecting and preserving the world around us.
I hope that my images inspire you to get outside; go for a hike or just sit quietly in your backyard for a while and admire just how amazing the life around us really is.
I have exhibited in multiple juried art shows and won art and photography awards locally and internationally;
